Well, I've got a few of them bookmarked. It's the kind of thing that could have done with its own thread in the Antidote or In Progress forum on the old board, but it's not a major issue, and I don't think it really needs serious consideration when we think about a new board.

Um, no. GAFF is not the Borg. We disagree about stuff, we each have different ideas about what's badfic and what isn't, and we don't need a manifesto. One of the things I like about this place is that there is a divergence of opinion on such matters - it makes for some interesting debates (and interesting screaming hissy-fit tantrums, in some cases). I don't see why we should throw all that out of the window.

We're the Godawful Fanfiction board, not the Help-the-new-writers board. While helping new writers is a good thing when it happens, that isn't what this board is for (and there are plenty of other sites, communities and discussion boards which _are_ dedicated to that sort of thing). We've no doubt helped many authors, and that's all well and good, but mocking badfic will always be our primary activity.
