My point is that I feel there is a pressing need to post, at the very least, links to those essays. Then again, it doesn't hurt for GAFF to have its own set standards on these topics so that GAFF can clearly state, "Based upon our criteria, this is badfic and that isn't." It's a lot better or more easily defended that way than merely justifying "This sucks!" with opinion.

Again, that is a case of a specific badfic, not a general discussion as I defined in Clarifications. Regardless, I see posted resolutions as a useful reference tool when discussing specific badfics, as mentioned above.
