I agree with Meg. While I don't post as often as many others I do like to semi-lurk and I try to check in at least 4 times a week. The problem with a chatroom is that I am currently living in Maui, which means that I am about 3 to 6 hours behind the rest of the US, when it's 7pm here it is 10pm on the West Coast, and 1am the next day on the East Coast, most of you guys are asleep when I check the board. If we had a chatroom I would not be able to participate or easily follow the descusions on GAFF. I am quite familiar with the Newgroup format, before moving here I was quite active in several ngs so a tiered board would be no problem for me, as long as I could close the threads, unlike Voy.

A chatroom might be neat in addition to a board, but it shouldn't replace it.
