That would be great if they were able to do that, although we have our very own airport at OU (KOUN), so I would think it would be easier to have students do their controlling there instead. Maybe mixing student controllers with student pilots wouldn't help anyone.

None taken. Just hope you leave with positive memories of Oklahoma outside of the Academy. Oklahoma City is a vibrant, growing area with tons to offer prospective visitors or residents. Lots of folks like to run the state down, but 99.9% of the time those folks have never set foot here - they're judging it based upon movies and hear-say.
