Subject: FAA Reauthorization Bill Vote

The Senate is set to vote on FAA Reauthorization this week. Please call your Senator and ask them to vote "YES" on FAA Reauthorization.
Calling your Senators' DC offices is easy and takes only a minute or so. When you call, you will be talking with an office staffer who will simply take notes and keep a tally of those constituents supporting/opposed to the bill.
The generic script below may be used for your convenience.
"I am a constituent (and FAA air traffic controller or FAA employee) and I am calling to urge Senator (NAME) to support FAA Reauthorization.

The aviation industry employs over 9 million citizens and accounts for $600 billion annually to the United States economy – it is imperative that we keep our National Airspace System the safest and most efficient in the world.

Staffing levels at air traffic control facilities across the country are at record lows while runway incursions and flight delays are at record highs.

As (an aviation-safety professional) and/or (a constituent), I urge Senator (NAME) to vote YES on final passage of the FAA Reauthorization Bill.

America can’t afford another delay! "
