In Sonnet number 73 by William Shakespeare, Shakespeare uses diction to describe the changing of seasons. For example, he talks about the yellow leaves and how only a few leaves hung on the tree as it turned into winter from fall. The seasons are significant because he compared the seasons changing to a dying person.
