After reviewing the characteristics of a sonnet, compose an original Elizabethan (Shakespearean) sonnet of 14 lines. Your theme may be traditional (i.e., love, nature, etc.) or contemporary, but you must use the correct rhyme scheme (ababcdcdefefgg) and iambic pentameter.
