I think he is saying, You see me as the ending of a day or a season that was beautiful
And you see me as death that steals youth
But even as you know this, you still love me
And must leave me soon. To descibe what seems like the season fall. He also talks about sunsets, which almost seems like a metaphor for fall, in that fall is the cold time after a warm and pleasant summer, like night after a warm day. Also, time and season are important in this sonnnet,in that he seems to write of their endings. The ending of a day, ending of summer, ending of a life, ending of a love. These writings seem to reflect how the endings of each of these times and season affect him, or how he can relate to them.
