Subject: In other news this week…..and it’s all good

Castagne assists Belgium, Wilson excels for Wales + scores, Jimenez takes the plaudits for Mexico with a goal + assist and Pereira gets a brilliant goal just 2’ minutes after coming on as sub. Plus, of course, Bassey & Iwobi are home safe and sound…..looking good for Saturday, innit.

It’s great to once again have a penalty king at the club and now find out he’s also a dead ball specialist who can strike amazing free kicks. Just a shame he’s not on either penalties or free kicks at Fulham. Still, you can’t have everything. Hope he finds the time to give Pereira a few tips.
