$She didn't even have to hear his words that she had asked the impossible, she didn't even have to see his face to realize she had lost the battle and it seemed the war as well. Shoulders slumping even more then before she struggled to stand. Body shaking ever so slightly at the effort to remain calm though she did so rather well...after all she'd had pratice in crying and repairing herself thanks to this male. Sniffling once more, tears gone, but still thick behind long lashes the female of golden strands and ivory skin sighed full heartedly. What to do, what to do. After a long pause she spoke.
"How can you say something you don't even know!" Words nearly shouted, anger raditing within her, if he wished to piss her off he'd nearly done so with his forced words of what she wished. "I have never not wanted you. I love you, and damnit if I'm a fool for doing so. I didn't marry you in hopes of changing you, I did it because I love you. I knew it would be hard, but god Zeth! I thought you'd care alittle bit more about me that you'd at least call me. I don't care what you do love." Words spoken softer now, though the pain was evident in her gaze. "Money is of no good to someone who can not die, and the kids are not mine...even if one happens to be my flesh and blood. All I want is you, YOU! I don't care if you go to others, just so long as you come home to me. Don't you understand this? I can't leave you...I can't, just like Brillian couldn't. I'm cursed and blessed to love you Zeth and rather or not you like it (and you better damnit) that's the way things are gonna be."
Breath taken, trying to calm her beating heart as once more she spoke. "If you didn't want me to begin with Zeth, why bond yourself to a petty female like myself? Tell me this, why marry someone you never wanted." Ouch. She was digging low, but hadn't they always fought with everything they had within them? Guess this was round...umm I've totally lost count. "I gave up that dream man for you Zeth, and in return...all I ask for is your love."
And with that her rant was done...for now. It was up to him to toss the ball back her direction or let it drop and with it her whole heart. After all twas in his hands it laid. $
