::at the pause after the blonde's sentence that indicated something else might have been said, the fae looks down at the carpet in an uncharacteristic display of embarassment. contrary to what Alicia may or may not think, nothing had taken place within these walls. barely a few kisses had been exchanged, and chaste ones at that. but to say so would make an awkward situation downright unpleasant, so her tongue is stilled.

her emeralds follow the blonde's multihued gaze to the plant in the corner, her ears picking up the sound of crying. what the hell? were those... pixies? well, I'll be damned. that was new. and it seemed that there had been a casuality. quietly acknowledging their loss with a tiny bow of her head, she smiles sadly in their direction before nodding at Alicia.

Yeah, sure. I'll stick around. ::I don't have anywhere else to go. that thought stayed a thought, silent to her mind but perhaps not to others. though, as a vampire, she could shield her mind from others, in present company she was not inclined to do so. it would have been pointless:: I'll help you clean up. Just point to where you need the most help. ::wow. big step. Max was not only cleaning, as she been wont to do, but she was doing it to help someone. weird. what was this town doing to her?::
