"Ms Baslazari, I'm Fredrick Cornmiles and I'm here on behave of the Intuition of Conventional Practices. I'm here with some paper work pertaining to your husband, Zeth Baslazari. It seems he's filed for devoice. All we need is for you to review this contract-" he shoved a clipboard into her empty hands and rushed on "and a signature here, here, here, and here. And your initials here, here, here and here. Then you need to read this circled in red ink and signed here and date there and skip a few pages- read the fine print please- and then sign here and here and there." With every “here” and “there” his finger jutted dangerously towards the dead trees clipped to the bent board. “and that’s it! You’re lucky, ma’am. The contract says he’s leaving everything in your name including credit cards and all belongings. It saves a lot of time not having to go through it all. Quick and easy. I think that’s what he wanted.” Smiling with his most polite smile, he held tints of “and he’s leaving this woman why?” but he didn’t say anything. “alright, ma’am! Here’s a pen.”
