Glancing into the hall where she now stood, Katie had a clear view of the kitchen and it was from this view that she noticed Zeth's hasty retreat. Silent steps were taken to bring the female after him, not to follow him...they both had the same thing on their mind - retreat. Smiling slightly as came to stand on the fire place behind the male, she gave him a near pitied smile before speaking verbally. "It's amazing how something so sweet can go bitter so fast."
