Rain!Rain!Rain!

YESSSSSSSSS! It has been raining here in Sunrise/Plantation all weekend! I know it is not enough to end the drought. But my lawn sure could use it. Well, what's left of it anyaway. I might not have to get up at 4 am on Wednesday this week to water the grass. Hope everyone is well. Have a nice Day!(singing in the rain....singing in the rain.......)

We've had more rain here this past month than in previous years. Everything is really green. The only drawback to that is the fact it will all be brown by June and makes for perfect brush fire fuel here in CA. I imagine our fire season will be a doozy this year. We had rolling blackouts here yesterday - very scary to be driving home in the dark with no traffic lights! Do the Everglades still burn every summer? Take care...Meg

I had forgotten about the brush fires in CA. It seems that mother nature is always getting freaky somewhere in this Country. With The droughts, floods, fires, and one I'm sure your know well...earthquakes. No, the Everglades hasn't had a really bad fire, so far. But you know how that goes....
