I have to apology for you all by sending a message not directly related to the purpose of the couple newsgroup, yet what my friend does is worthwhile to get known and support from us. I knew Connie when we were teenagers, both of us volunteered for a youth group. We lost contact until last year I met her again in HK and learnt that she was battling against final stage cancer. She kept a brave face with positive attitudes all the time. Besides a pale look and a slim figure, you won't find a trace to show she has terminal disease. Amid all the anguish, worries, fear, hopes, and struggles, she finds strength in her faith, a faith keeps her alive and prompt her to share her ordeals and walk with others suffering with the same fate. Hope you support her, here's her story.

Dear all,
More than 1 yr that we haven't met each other.I just want to share with
u that my book about cancer is going to release on Friday.The name of the
book is called勇闖癌關‧活出新生命 .The publisher is 紅書館.
I have started to write this book since March 2005 and finished by this
Sept.It has been making me almost exhausted,but I still think it is worthy
and meaningful to do it.
I can't forget how desparate I was when I knew that I got a last stage
cancer 3.5 yrs ago and then I had to go through a lengthy period of
miserable treatment:chemotherapy ,radiotherapy and surgery .It is God's
grace to take me out from those hard time .I then became strong and got
the peace of mind to overcome those adversities.To echo the Love of Jesus
,I decided to write down my precious experience during the last 3 and a
half years,and tell the other patients that we can fight Cancer down,we can
win the battle.Don't be anxious,don't give up...
The project is totally financed by my own monies,and all the monies
recieved from the book sales will be donated to The Children Cancer
Foundation and the Church .I wish u can buy some copies and send it out to
somebody u know who has cancer.This book will be definitely a blessing to
them.U can also help spread the words out to let more people know that
there is a book right there for cancer patients.
