Dear Kaye(Brock)Curry and Kathryn Brock,
I'm sorry that my message that I sent on Memorial Day didn't seem to go any place.I used my wife's iPad and maybe I did something wrong. Your message got to me on Memorial Day which was so great and made my Memorial Day
much more meaningful.
Most of the stories I have about Larry are just regular kind of everyday things, as we weren't in combat together. Not that there wasn't plenty of stress in OCS and we did jump out of planes together in Jump School. Larry had a difficult time with the qualifing mile run in Jump School.Larry was built more like a football player than a track star and it was a hot summer day in Georgia, but Larry finished the run, even though he looked like he was ready to collapse; and he went on to earn his silver jump wings. All of us were very proud of our jump wings as we started OCS.
Hopefully I'll hear from you again
Bob(Sam)Brucker
