Subject: Ford Jeeps preferred over Willys in ETO

Brian, I am a WWII veteran who frequently drove Jeeps in wartime. For about 30 years I owned a 1941 Ford Jeep. During the war those in my outfit preferred the Ford over the Willys, but Willys were far more plentiful. Always drove with windshield folded flat. We had wire cutters on all our jeep front bumpers in the ETO to avoid decapitation from wire strung across the road by the enemy.
