I found that FH had done extensive study in the different cultures of the world, and found the differing beliefs and religious zealotry fascinating.
Always a man who sought knowledge, FH was a voracious reader and student of the human condition. This aspect shows in his works.
I found that the book "Dreamer of Dune" to be quite enlightening. I suggest it to all. BH may not be the best writer or anywhere near the storyteller his father was, but his insights and personal accounts are very telling and give us a glimpse into FH's dreams and influences that come out in his writing.
