I just finished the Battle of Corrin; it was a bit of a slog. There where too many "suddenly"'s in it. A. Harkonnen suddenly turns pacifist; suddenly, Raquella is healed in "mysterious" healing waters. Too many plot devices and not enough stuff to move the plot. I hope Dune 6 & 7 are less contrived and have wheels within wheels.

I took the test and I came up as a no-name assistant to Naib Al Fali on page 164 of Children of Dune. How come people always are famous characters? How come we are never "Joe Blow" nobody's like in real life?
