Subject: They are "silent" because they don't actually have phsyical speaking apparatus

I believe that Frank describes the voices as being "silent screams" because the screams are in fact loud, but they are within Paul's mind and no one outside of Paul can actually hear them.

When Paul says he is the "fulcrum" in the quote I provided, it is in DIRECT reference to the division between the masculine and the feminine. If he meant that he was the fulcrum in terms of his importance in events, the conversation would have been about his importance, but in that particular sentence he is referring to the masculine and feminine. It does not PROVE that he has OM, but I think it is a strong piece of evidence that points to OM since the KH is supposed to be able to have access to MAsculine and Feminine pasts by definition. Paul says he is at the fulcrum between the masculine and feminine.

I also never discuss the "extent" of Paul's OM. Like you I believe Leto's OM was more powerful and distinct most likely because he was preborn. I merely argued that Paul has OM. I never said anything about it being on par with Leto's. In fact, to the contrary, in my conclusion I postulate as to why OM is written about less in Dune than in the later books and I do say Leto had OM to a greater extent partly because Frank wrote about it a lot more.
