that the fact that Alia's mind was open at birth...she had no previous lesson before birth and jessica was bound almost by her ways that the women bene gesserit couldn't look in "that place" but alia wanted it more then anything to look there so it just might have opened her mind to all her ansestors because she was preborn and jessica wasn't, she already had it there.
