I have been really upset the last 3 or 4 games with the officiating.

It appears to me that this is what's happening: UC's physical reputation works against them alot. Their opponents know that UC is physical and so they come out and try and match the physicalness (is that a word?). Know what I mean? They try to play UC's game. Meanwhile, they foul UC to death, hold, push, shove, all things they don't typically do, but because it's the Cats they do it and think that's how UC plays.....when in truth, UC knows how to play physical defense without fouling that much. Other teams don't. But the officials won't call it because they fear being accused of lopsided foul calling toward one team.

I've watched Steve Logan get held and shoved the last 2 games especially where he should be shooting no less than 30 free throws a game....it's ridiculous. I've watched Jamal Davis, Donald Little, and Leonard Stokes get silly calls where they were standing up with their arms straight up and their opponent backs them down and there's barely any contact and the official stupidly blows his whistle. I saw Donald Little get backed down against St. Louis and actually the guy used his hips and bumped Donald atleast 3 feet off of him, Donald regained his position and barely brazed the guy and they called a foul.

It's ridiculous. I think the officials think UC plays physical and they should be use to it when their opponents hack, shove, push, and hold them. I'd be willing to bet the lack of foul calls have caused the last 2 games to be as close as they are. I give UC credit for even winning these games.

I just had to vent. And then I read how South Florida think they got jobbed on the foul calls. Ridiculous. Nobody gets jobbed more than UC.
