While it was a game that they surely would have liked to win, it is not a very bad loss for them. I makes them look good, in that they played a top 4 team and the 20 points they lost by can be attributed to the injury of David West ( if you do not believe me you can ask him yourself).

I do not think they will lose out in their NCAA seeding too much because they lost to UC.

Also, it was a non-conference game. It would have been much worse for them to lose to say Fordham or Duquesne.
