I think Duke is a bad example for almost everyone. While Boozer is a fine player, and more of a finesse player than power player (and not a shot blocker), what I think makes Duke tough is the Jason Williams - Mike Dunleavy Jr. combo. You can't play zone against them, and if you put a traditional power player on Dunleavy he could light that player up b/c essentially, he has point guard skills. Boozer gets a lot of 1 one 1s because of this. Williams is obvious. Shutting Williams, Dunleavy and Boozer down in the same game is impossible, and then you have to deal with possible other outside shooters in Duhon and Ewing. But if UC and Duke did tangle in the tourny, Boozer is foul prone, and after him, it is Hrovath and Sanders. UC could slid Davis to the 5, but I think having to guard 4 perimeter players (3 that will most likely be in the NBA) at once is where the difficulty will be. Is Barker or Field able to come in and guard Duhon or Williams? I think UC has a very good shot if their offense is clicking. With early entries to the draft, I don't think there are that many great frontcourts out there. Teams with mulitple guys 6-9 or taller are rare, and many power fowards are 6-6 and 6-7. Just my not so quick thought.

Marquette - UC could be a good game for UCs frontcourt. Marquette has one player over 225 pounds. Nnamake (6-7 225) plays 27mpg with 7.8ppg and 4.3rpg. Then there is Merrit (6-10 245) who averages 20mpg with 6.8 and 4.7, followed by Harris (6-7 225) who plays 21.6mpg and averages 4.7 and 4.1. Sanders (6-8 220) gets 11.3 minutes averaging 3 and 2. Townsand (6-7 215) has only played 10 games this year. None are shot blockers. There is really no guage on how athletic they are, but it most certainly is frontcourt by committee. From the stat sheet it seems like a game that Maxiell can really flouish in, with Little and Davis also being stable in the frontcourt.
