Subject: You're talking to someone whose interest in the Knicks goes back to the title team with Willis Reed, Dave DeBusschere, Bill Bradley, Dick Barnett, and the all-time PG in NY, Walt "Clyde" Frazier.
In reply to: Lets go Dukes 's message, "ED you are right. Childs + Ward combined to make the last decent PG in NY. TMH - He is on Cavs roster here - www.nba.com/summerleague2010/teams/cavaliers/ - and the game schedule here - www.nba.com/news/features/2010.summer.league.schedule/index.html ... many games are on NBA TV or online... good luck AJ!" on Saturday, July 10, 01:32:30pm

Jazzy Cazzie Russell, Jerry Lucas, later Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Phil Jackson and Dean "The Dream" Memminger...what great memories.

I remember the lean years, when the cupboard would be bare except for an aging Bob McAdoo or Spencer Hayward, or a guy like Bernard King who played his butt off every night.

I enjoyed the Patrick Ewing era, although the lack of a second star always hurt that team. Loved watching Charles Oakley play.
