Subject: That is very problematic El Duque. The University needs to actively engage the alumni, particularly those outside Pittsburgh. The Lehigh Valley should absolutely have one. They should be organizing bus trips to games in Philadelphia and AC, viewing parties for televised games and then use the members to promote Duquense in this area. The same is true for NY, MD, DC, and any other area where there is an accumulation of alumni.
In reply to: El Duque 's message, "The alumni groups come and go sometimes. One of the posters on this board has created a NY-area alumni group that is pretty active (DC, you should chime in)." on Wednesday, July 14, 06:45:48pm
