  • This (guard quickness) is what Robert Morris does so well and did against Duquesne to outrebound the dukes. Guards will have to be active down low however the fear is you leave Gibbs open. • Pitt presents a very bad match-up for DU ( the worst we'll see all year ). For DU to win, the team must ( 1 ) Have an incredible shooting nite from 3 pt. range against a very good defensive team. Rhody hit 14 I believe and still came up short. ( 2 ) Minimize the rebounding differential - Pitt will really hammer the glass, especially on their offensive boards ( 3 ) and as you say DU must protect the ball. Pitt will force the action with a man-man . They are very deep and talented and if you allow them to get easy baskets in the transition game the task of beating them is next to impossible.   • Abdul, very good thoughts. I am extremely concerned about the rebounding; you just can't give Pitt (or any team) too many second chances. We gave up 18 offensive rebounds to both RMU and UMBC; 11 to BG. If Pitt grabs over 15 offensive rebounds, it will be tough for the Dukes to keep it close (regardless of how well they shoot or take care of the ball). In addition to having Peggau/Wright/Marhold stepping up and grabbing a few rebounds, we are going to need BJ and Sean to really crash the boards and not cheat down the court.
