Subject: I think Belma Nukic may be the female equivalent of TJ McConnell.
In reply to: Always a Duke 's message, "I'm really glad that Belma Nurkic will be wearing a Duquesne uniform when she's starts college next year. And to think that Suzie and her coaches nearly got Madison Cable to join her on the Bluff. Good luck to both girls in their senior seasons. If you are interested in seeing some very good high school basketball, their schools will play each other on Jan 3 @ Mt. Lebo & on Jan 27 @ Baldwin. Neither of these dates conflict with the Dukes' men's or women's games." on Friday, December 03, 11:34:22am

I am not saying that they have the skill sets nor am I predicting the same level of success on the college level but both accepted early and remained close to home. I think the scouts and the rating services abandoned both because of it.
Belma is only rated as an 80 although she was 1st team 4A PA All-State as a junior. Both Belma and TJ had about 1,400 points heading into their senior and so she only needs to avg less than 20 ppg to break 2,000. I look forward to following her carrer at Baldwin and Duquesne.
