In reply to: mjp1542 's message, "ED, respect your opinion greatly, and you were there, so maybe I'm wrong, but we were 14-31 from 3, which is a phenomenal percentage. Damian and BJ were 7-10. That won't happen again. And I'm not sure what you saw out of Peggau, either. He's awful on defense, commits too many easy fouls and is way out of control on offense. I feel the game slipped away right after BJ was hurt and missed several minutes, and Rod was forced to be in there. Plus, we had nobody who could guard Battle, which doesn't bode well for A-10 season." on Sunday, December 05, 09:40:28am

Whether you or I agree or not, I know you know basketball and respect your opinion and always read your posts. On the threes, I didn't want to pick on anyone, but one of our players was 1-8 from 3-point land. Penn State rebounded all seven misses. In a four-point loss, taking seven higher percentage shots and hitting just two puts us into OT. Hitting three gives us the win. I didn't mean to overstate Peggau. He had a couple nice baskets in the low post. He made some bad passes but his defense yesterday was not bad. I'd like to see more of Marhold because I think he will become a more well-rounded player.

TJ was playing with a banged up foot and at time Talley looked like he was pressing too hard on both ends of the court. I think both will improve on the defensive end, and I hope Jerry Jones is working on his game defensively because he seems to be very quick (limited PT).
