Subject: Wright was in his warmup top the entire second half. Clueless here. Did not seem to be receiving any medical attention. On a more positive note, Marhold continues to improve. Monster game on the boards and many dunks. I think the final was something like 115 to 65 give or take a point here or there.
In reply to: El Duque 's message, "Nearly had a triple double. Sounds like the freshman class had a huge night. Anyone know why Joel Wright had such limited minutes?" on Monday, November 08, 09:03:20pm

Ron switched to a zone the last 10 minutes of the game with Billy C. at the top and T.J. and Talley (or Johnson on the wings). Two bigs were down low. Basically a 3-2. The baskets really started falling about 10 minutes into the first half and never let up. Awesome but again, against Lycoming. On the other hand I can remember when we lost to either Marathon Oil or Athletes in Action under Danny Nee.

  • My guess, and just a guess is that he was being punished a bit for not looking to pass at all in the first half. He had a few possessions in a row where he tried to take on the entire side while he had open teammates. Did not convert on any of those. Again - total speculation - but he was not sharing the ball much. Marhold, though, was in beast mode - lots of rebounds, quite a few blocks and really got up in the air on his dunks. Played with a lot of desire and really wanted the ball. Was great to see. (NT) -- mm76, Monday, November 08, 10:22:40pm
