Subject: I'm going to look at this with the glass half full.
In reply to: duq81 's message, "Well, for all of those who have been on the TJ bandwagon, we're going to find out a lot about him real quick. Fortunately, point guard is our deepest position, but the depth is very green." on Tuesday, October 26, 09:07:37pm

If my calculations are correct, Eric may be back by George Mason (12/22, which will give him 4 OOC games to play in before we reach the meat of the conference schedule.
I'm not sure what combination of TJ, Talley, Johnson & Jones, RE will start the season with but they will initially face LaRoche,Lycoming, Bluefield St.,Robert Morris, Bowling Green and UMBC before taking on Pitt. I don't see a matchup problem in any of the first 6 games. Against Pitt, the loss of Evans may be insignificant compared to our mis-matches inside. Our guards played well in the summer league against RM & Pitt players, there is no reason to believe they can't do it again.
