Subject: Thats disturbing. You don't see RE giving Saunders a mouthful for his ridiculous shot selection or Clark for his silly fouls. Instead he takes it on a guy whose just getting some confidence and giving the Dukes a boost. Strange.
In reply to: WashpaRick 's message, "Ron was giving Wright an earful when coming of the floor after GM hit a wide open 3 from top of the key. Joel raised his arms a couple of times like he was frustrated and he didn't play much after that." on Thursday, December 23, 12:05:49am

  • I saw this differently...Wright is known to be emotional and may over play at times....he was mixing it up with #20 on Gmason and the refs stopped to game to warn the players. RE was reminding him to keep his cool and Wright was defending his actions...it was an interesting exchange but a good one...I think RE understands his player. My take is RE simply thought I'm going with my most experienced players and was afraid Wright could make a critical mistake/turnover and he sacrificed and inside presence as a result. • Also....Wright I think had the flu....before the game I saw him get some medication along with some water from the trainer. He looked sick. (NT) -- Greg, Thursday, December 23, 12:55:14pm
