In reply to: Phoenix Rising 's message, "El Duque, that's exactly what the Fat Man in St. Louis has been and is demanding from SLU and their alums. I remember that he decided to protest the lack of charters by boycotting his own radio show last year. He's already complaining about the A-10 schedule this year. It is a big deal in today's world of college athletics, especially with the difficulty of commercial air travel (lack of direct flights, security, delays, etc.). I'm pretty sure that donors fund some of the charters that the Dukes have used. BTW, I believe that a charter for a 300 mile trip will run about $10K." on Saturday, September 11, 08:34:55am
