I was under the impression that if the college to which a player transferred had a unique graduate program degree not available at the previous college, then the transferring player would not have sit out a year before playing B-ball. I think you may be right. I remember two years ago there was a guy from St. Francis, probably their best player, that transferred and did not have to sit out because UMBC had a unique graduate program degree (marine biology).
