Subject: My Father is 88, so he was 11 when the Volstead Act was repealed. He recalls his dad making home brew beer in Sharpsburg, also they never had a shortage of corn liquor up in Cambria County where Grandpap was from originally. People forget about Prohibition that it was only illegal to transport or sell it. You couuld still (HA HA) make your own for your own use.
In reply to: Seen on Miltenberger St 's message, "how many of you guys remember prohibition? Its cool seeing many generations covered on this board, from students to what appears to be folks in their....90s? :-)" on Tuesday, July 27, 04:04:09pm
