「獵勝名駒」騎法研訊完畢騎師史科菲被罰停牌六個月

二○○四年五月二十五日

首席受薪董事薛天華發出通告：

競賽董事小組今日（五月二十五日）完成了就上週六（二○○四年五月二十二日）沙田
賽事第四場羅福讓賽「獵勝名駒」的騎法而召開之研訊。「獵勝名駒」的騎師史科菲及
練馬師約翰摩亞，以及「豐富」的騎師韋達，今日均作出進一步證供。

史科菲被裁定一項不適當策騎（賽事規例第100(1)條），事緣他作為「獵勝名駒」的騎
師，獲得「盡可能爭取領放」的策騎指示，但在坐騎迅速地出閘後，他並無作出令人滿
意的努力以切入至居於「特別」的外側競跑，儘管當時他有機會這樣做。此外，在早段
當居於一個前列位置走勢暢順時，他多次望向其右邊，藉以察看由韋達策騎的此賽大熱
門「豐富」，當時「豐富」在其內側居於第二疊競跑，然後於過了一千米處在一段途程
上，在領先「豐富」至少一個馬位的優勢下，他不適當地約束坐騎，從而在中段繼續居
於第三疊競跑，如此令到「豐富」得以在此場賽事中走位暢通無阻並且受到保護。小組
認為，由於他的騎法，「豐富」在此賽的爭勝機會得以提升。

由於此項違反賽事規例，騎師史科菲被判罰停牌六個月。此項罰則即時生效，因此史科
菲的停牌期最後一天為二○○四年十一月二十四日。

韋達獲告知，他在研訊中作出的證供已被記錄。

約翰摩亞先生獲告知，他在研訊中作出的證供獲得接納。
