I think Argentina look the best team at the moment, Brazil still look very dangerous. I think the Spanish are playing very well too, a very balanced team. England are determined to waste a good opportunity to do well in this tournament. Or rather, if they do well it will be in spite of the manager not because of him. Walcott is a waste of time if they are not going to play him in the group phase, and two of our four strikers have been struggling with fitness and one has now gone home. The remaining striker, Peter Crouch, is useless anyway. Plus our tactics are inept, and the manager insists on playing people out of their best positions. I'll be quite relieved when England get knocked out, just to get the farce over and done with, and I can concentrate on watching some good teams play.

I think Ivory Coast will have a good team by the next World Cup. Games I'm looking forward to - Ghana vs Brazil, and Australia vs Italy, are probably the best matched. Spain vs France could be a great game, but I think the French like the English are fuck ups.

America were in a tough group, and are lacking quality strikers. I place you similar to Japan. Developing a competitive squad but need talented strikers to get to the next level. As long as your football associations are committed to developing the sport it will happen (it can't fail to), or as more Americans realise soccer is a cheaper more healthy alternative to football the US will get better at the World Cup.
