Thanks for the info and sorry so late in replying, it's fairly manic work-wise at the moment.

Norwich is in the north of East Anglia, which the bump just above London! I have only been there once or twice but it looks a very nice place. East Anglia is reasonably unspoilt, so if he is driving while here I recommend lots of trips. North Norfolk coast is where Admiral Nelson of Trafalgar fame came from and there are lots of quaint little villages and market towns. Cromer is famous for the crabs the fishermen collect and would be worth trying them out. Suffolk (the lower half of East Anglia) is very quaint with tonnes of old churches and small castle. Speakin of churches there are loads to visit in that part of the world. And I would recommend a visit to Cambridge as many of the collegese there are ridicuously old and very impressive to look at and wander through. Of course a trip down to London is worth it, expensive, but maybe a go on the London Eye and a look at parliament and Westminster Abbey. Hope he enjoys himself. Don't travel on Sundays! Don't go and watch Norwich vs Ipswich! They hate each other with a passion!! Recoomend any of the local beers, particularly good is Adnams brewery from Suffolk. Recommend a trip to Southwold which is beautiful. Any questions just let me know and if he wants someone to talk too I can give you my number!
