Subject: My day - the good, the bad and the ugly (m)

The good - it was a pretty good day all in all. The weather was lovely (for a change) and we spent a lot of it outside. We went to visit a friend, whose two sons and Gavi all adore each other, although three hyper boys aged 5 to 8 is NOT relaxing! LOL

The bad - my friend's ex, who a)refused to give her permission to have her younger boy's teeth fixed, so she had to get a court injunction, and b)quit his well-paying job so he wouldn't have to pay child support, has now moved into an appartment across the road from her so he can watch everything she does. This lovely man followed us to the park today. He didn't do anything but sit on a bench, but of course he looked for and got his sons' attention, and really upset my friend, although she didn't show it. What a jerk! She's looking for a new place, and is going to get a restraining order against him if this doesn't stop.

The ugly - my hip! I was trying to get some equipment to Gavi at the park, and fell 10 feet off a climber, landing on my side. My shoulder feels fine, my arm is a bit scratched up, and my hip is going to be an amazing variety of shades of purple in the morning. OUCH! Luckily it's well padded.

I think I'm actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow,
