My sister is married to a totally shallow man who mainly cares about appearances, so though I can't say I totally understand how you feel, I've seen my sister suffer enough to have an idea!

Anyway I'm sorry about the situation you were in today...I can imagine it was very painful! I hope that Jim respects your wishes...that is the least he can do!!! I think it's great that you are being realistic about how long it might take to get over something like this. I pray that one day, you do find your Mr. Right, who loves you for who you are!!! There are plenty of men out there who would love to have a wife like you!
