My husband is a Marine (inactive now). When he was active he was stationed in N. Carolina. That was at the time we were engaged and then right after we got married. I lived in Ohio. Our visits were few (about once a month) and truly treasured when we had them, but saying good-bye was the worse. I cried terribly every time. We didn't have any kids then, so I can only imagine how much harder it tugs on your heart. Know I feel your pain. It doesn't really get easier, but it does show how much you guys all love him. {{{HUGS}}}} for you and your kids, and prayers that he does in fact stay close to home.
