I'm kind of confused. Pas is out and the police are launching an investigation. What are they going to charge dh with? Spousal abuse? Are you legally married to dh? If you're not, then I can't see that he's done anything illegal and they're just harrassing you. At this point, it just seems like her word against his or yours. There isn't any physical proof that he's done anything wrong to her, I assume, so it seems like it would be a hard case to prove. Maybe you should call a lawyer and get informed of your rights and get an opinion about whether or not the police can take this anywhere. I would guess that if they really have no case that the DA won't want to bother to prosecute. I hope things work out for you...~Gina
