Subject: YIKES!! I just pulled a tick from Chris's underarm!!!...(m)

At least I *think* it was a tick!!! It really looked like one. I guess I'm really hoping it wasn't. I'm just sitting here waiting for the doctor's office to open so I can take him and the remnants in to be checked. Please pray my little boy doesn't get Lyme Disease!!!! I'm almost certain it came from the playground at school yesterday. But we did go for a hike through a local preserve on Sunday and when we came out of the woods all three of us were covered in ticks on our legs and feet (we did have sneakers on but we also had shorts on). Corey and I were soooo careful with Chris and stripped him down right there to check over his entire body. And when we got home we stripped him and gave him a bath. I checked every inch of his body. Thank goodness he has a really short crewcut so we could see his scalp. Everything was clean. So I'm assuming he got this one from school. I pulled it off with a tweezer. My poor baby. I'm so scared for him.

I better get showered and dressed. Thanks for your support in advance.
