Well, I waited until 8:00 only to find out that the doctor's office is closed on Wednesdays. Shoot! So I pressed 0 and got an ER nurse at the hospital. She calmed my nerves and told me that it's very rare to get anything from a tick in Florida, even Lyme disease. She said to make sure I had gotten the whole thing out (looks like I did) and clean it (I did that with rubbing alcohol) and to put antibiotic cream on it. I put it on and put a bandaid over it just so it didn't rub off on his shirt. She also said to watch him and if he starts showing signs of getting sick to bring him in to his doctor. UGH! So I took him to school and let the teacher know that he got it from the playground.

Sandra, you're right. It *is* good that we know he was bitten and so we can catch anything right from the get-go. Also the other great thing is that he's been on an antibiotic since last Thursday for a sinus infection. So he's full of antibiotic right now. Hopefully this will help with anything he might have contracted.

I'm so happy he spilled his milk on his pajama top! LOL. That's when I saw it, when I pulled his top off. And this thing was totally and completely engorged. Yuck! It wasn't even moving anymore. It looked like a big black mole. Really gross. Sorry. ;-)

Anyway, I called my Mommy right away to have her worry with me. Hee hee!! She's good at that. ;-) And then I went to Chris's school to help with the Easter festivities including an egg hunt. I always have such a great time when I'm a class Mommy! And Chris told me that I was doing great! LOL! These kids are sooooo sweet!!!

Thanks for letting me lean on you guys. You're the best.

{{{HUGS}}} from my heart,

~Laura~
