Subject: Can I ask a question about pain? Sorry if this is TMI (m)

Okay, I spent a good bit of the night in the recliner cuz of nausea/indigestion (which ob said is caused by my bowels swelling)...this morning when I got up to go crawl in bed I felt 'different' and I think the baby dropped some more cuz he seems to be farther down when I press on the top of my belly. Okay, so DH took us to Cracker Barrel for breakfast (cuz it's my FAVORITE!) and while we were there I started having pain and pressure in my bottom...basically like I needed to go to the bathroom. So I went in the bathroom and nothing...except pain. Now, it's not completely unbearable like making me cry or anything...it just HURTS. I've been in the bathroom several times since then (of course) and still nothing bowel-wise except the pain and the feeling like I need to 'go'. (blushing)

Any ideas? I'm wondering if it just is because if the baby HAS moved down farther he's pressing on something and causing the feelings.

Anybody experience anything like this when they were 36 weeks or so? TIA for any advice! And, again, sorry if this is too gross or too graphic.

Donna
