Just had a similar problem with my '05. Weak airflow to floor, and could never get full airflow to defroster - mostly blew out of vents - a pain in the winter. Dealer replaced HVAC Control assembly (under warranty). Goes in right behing the HVAC knobs on your dash. Solved my problem. Your situation sounds similar. Good Luck
