Right as I was reading this, a Nissan technician walked by my desk. (I am working part-time at a Nissan dealership in New Hampshire.) I showed him your post.

And *good news*. It's nothing much. You have a valve, called the "evap vent valve", which is stuck and needs to be replaced. In your case- the valve is stuck open, giving the same reading as if there was a massive leak.

It's actually pretty common on that vehicle, according to my collegue.

So lucky you. It's no big deal, you just need to have a valve replaced. Good news indeed. Stop worrying and make an appointment.
