Santa Barbara tapes: we need help

April, 17, 2002 after more that 10 years on the air, Santa Barbara was cancelled in Russia on episode #2040.
RTR, channel SB was broadcasted in Russia and ex-USSR countries, clames they have no rights to air the rest episodes and have no any plans to buy these rights. So many SB fans from Russia and all over the ex-USSR can't to watch about last 5 months of the show (97 episodes). We are still trying to back Santa Barbara on air by mailing to RTR and some other our TV-channels, but nowtime is not much to boast of...
Because of this we ask our international fellows who have tapes from the last 5 months to help us. We're looking for Santa Barbara complete episodes from eps.#2041 till the end of the show. We're willing to pay for tapes or trade. We can offer you SB videostuff from earliest years (some stuff in English), copies of this CD and also some themes and songs from SB for the asked tapes.

Hi!
I am desperately looking for copies of Santa Barbara complete episodes from last six monthes of the show. Willing to pay for tapes and shipping. I would prefer English stuff but Spanish tapes are welcome as well. Primarily interested in purchasing but trading is possible. I have a lot of Santa Barbara episodes in English from 1990 till first part 1992, some episodes from earliest seasons and edited storylines for supercouples. Not interested in selling cause really haven't enough time for making tapes except tapes for trade. If you can help me, please, contact me at my e-mail address e-jules@eroupe.com.

A Martinez Leaving 'General'

Jul 29, 12:04 PM (ET)

RADNOR, Pa. (AP) - A Martinez, the actor who has played Roy DiLucca on "General Hospital" for nearly three years, says he expects to leave that show soon to concentrate on "For the People," a new legal series on the Lifetime cable network.

"My typical week comes close to being unreasonable," Martinez says in the Aug. 3 issue of TV Guide. "I don't think it's wise to do two things like this at the same time."

His contract with "General Hospital" ends in September.

"My guess is I'll probably fold up my tent at 'General Hospital," Martinez says.

On his new show, he plays Michael Olivas. He supports star Lea Thompson, who plays Los Angeles deputy prosecutor Camille Paris.

Debbie( the webmaster of this site) has sent me a picture of A on his new show, For The People. If anyone wants to see it, I'll scan it and post it. He looks like his old self again, and the role is tailor made for him.... IMO, he is born to play a cop or a lawyer........
