Today was a tiresome day. My father and mother have shown me many of the skills that have been passed down through generations. We are gardeners by nature, and I have learned how to care for plants in cold weather today. Our home in our small village is peacful. We have the occansial traveler to Prontera passing by. Our village is too small to be counted on the world map, so there usually don't stay long. Speaking of which, during my free time today, I got to converse with a traveling party. It contained two thieves, a hunter and archer, one swordsman, and one priest. I attended the priest's talk of God and love and peace. Of his ideal world where people and monsters may live together in peace. Also, to care for all living things. He has good points, and I can agree with him. Of course, I also know I should defend myself from attackers. I can't let my being pushed around by bullies at my school. That is what identified me with the swordsman. He has the same beliefs I do, and we talked for many hours as I planted some squash. He even helped me plow the fields. He was very strong as a swordsman. I wonder how strong he'd be as a knight? And, I forgot to say his name. He said his name was Mioshi, and that he is from Alberta, the sea port community. We talked about the sea, and its beauty. I wish to see the sea someday, as Mioshi descirbed it. But, time doesn't drag forever. By nightfall, he and heis party left. I also hope to see him again one day. I hope he comes back to my village, for I don't believe I will ever leave this place, my home. The only place I have ever lived in. I have never traveled more than 5 miles away from this place, which is complete wilderness. And with these thoughts I leave, I shall go rest again for another day tomorrow.

I have just woken up from a startling dream. I walked a path of cobblestone, and on each side, a barren field devoid of life dragged on seemingly forever. I did not reconize this place. The sun has set but it more twillight than night itself, but not for long. It got darker and darker, till I could barely see my nose at the end of my face. I was getting uneasy and sweating. I put my shades on, and my world became purple. It made me calm to see purple for some reason. I saw a bright star and followed it. After what seemed like many hours, I had reached a field. There sat the party that had visited my village today. When I got closer, they seemed frozen in place, and did not respond to me. I reached a hand out, and when I touched the priest, I was engulfed in a shining light..Then, eyelids closed, I heard a booming voice. What it told me next was a blur. A pendant was put into my hand, and I clutched it tight, scared. Then, I woke up, breathing heavily. I tried to convince myself that it was only a dream, but in my hand was still the pendant. It was a shiny blue gem, with two white, feathery wings attached to either side. I believe the voice was God, from the events that took place yesterday and in my dream. I understand now, what I must do. I must do whatever means necessary to bring back order to this land of chaos of where I live. I plan to take my bag and pack it. As a 14 year old, I have the right to go off adventuring. Kids as young as 6 would sometimes go adventuring, from the stories I have heard. I will bring you, my journal. I will also carry food and a kitchen kinfe, for cooking purposes, and to fend off attackers. When I reach the training acadamy, that is 30 miles away, I will pass my course and then set off to be an acotyle. After all, if God gave me this pendant, then I should be an acotyle, then a priest, and finally a monk. I hope I find a Bible soon, for I can't take the ones in my village. I'm afraid I can only take one extra change of clothes, or my encumberence would be tooo high. I'm obviously bringing my shades. Afterall, I'd be a shivering maniac filled with fear, and be being paranoid without them. It did happen before I was given my shades once..but I don't like to think of that incident. And now I must wait till my parents wake up. I woke up two hours earlier than normal, at 4AM. I shall prepare breakfast while I wait. Pepco eggs, milk, and fruits sound like a good meal, ne?

After sitting down at the breakfast table, I had been uneasy about telling my parents on my decision. But finally, in the final minutes of our meal, I got the courge to speak, and spat it out. When I was done, I was breathing hard, and my heart was beating faster than normal. They stared at me, eyes full of curiousity. At least they weren't angry was all I could think to myself at that point. After enchanging glances, my father spoke.
"Kiante, why would you want to go off adventuring? Aren't you happy here with your mom and I? And our village? Is it not peaceful?"
"Do you even have a path you have choosen for yourself?" my mother added.
"I understand what I am doing. I wish to be an acotyle, and restore peace to the whole of Rune-Midgard. I promise to keep safe and remember you always. I will return one day, as an accomplished priest."
Our conversation continued like this for several more minutes. In the end, they agreeded, to my relief. I have now packed everything that I have planned. My village is throwing a farewell party for me. I will celebrate and be merry tonight, for this will be the last time I see everyone in my village for quite a long time.

Whew..That celebration was big!! Everyone I knew was there; Amayra, Brad, Lolika, Tanoko, Matt, Katilyn, Vicky..The list could go on for quite a while. My village isn't very big..but it sure has a lot of people in it ^____^ I'm sure gonna miss this place. But, at least I know they'll miss me! There were balloons, games, shows, jokes, socializing, barbaques, and many more thing! I had a great time tonight. I better rest up though, if I want to be ready for my 30 mile hike to the Acadamy. I plan to take a forest trail out of here, but I'm afriad I may have to go through this part of land with ghosts..I hear they are mean and scary, and only a well-trained acotyle or priest can handle them. I'll just add that to my ever growing list of wanting to be an acotyle. But, one thing I may also add about the party! Just as we were going home, my best friend Lee pulled me over and got me a going away gift! There's isn't much you can get around here, but he gave a silver chain to hang my pendant on! The pendant's own clip was too rusted so I took it off, but now I can hang it like a necklace! And its silver, so it may ward away so creepy things..I here that's one use of silver. Well, that's Lee for you! Always being nice to others, no wonders he's my best friend. I'll be sure to get him something good when I come back, as well as everyone else. I think I'll get him a four-leaf clover! He gave me a way to fend off evil things, so I'll give him luck! Or maybe I'll just get him the headband you make from four-leaf clovers? The name escapes me for the moment. But anyhow, I'm off to bed..

I have been traveling for five days. I've truely been sight-seeing more than trying to get to the acadamy quickly. I've fought nothing so far. I've seen Porings and Fabres and a few other creatures, but they seemed not to be hostile so I didn't attack. I'll save everything that I am for the acadamy. These past couple of days, I've met a few novices training in this peaceful part of the forest. Apparently, this area is pretty tame. Though, right now, I want to just relax. I'm currently sitting under an apple tree, eatting an apple no less. I see a liitle Poring hopping through the brush. He looked hungry so I tossed him the rest of my apple. These apples are plentiful, so I think I'll take some with me. Its so peaceful here, I think I'll rest a bit...

Just came to say I probably won't be updating this for quite some time. My puter' just had a major reset, so no files remain. It'll take a while to get everything back to normal, install Ragnarok (and make it work yhis time T_T), and then I have to go and get the whole P2P thing sorted out. When I do finally get to play RO, and update this little journal, I'll probably say the Kiante got lost(real lost), or something to that effect. Anyways, I bid you farewell till next time (though I have no idea if anyone does actually read this stuff..)
