guyz..i juss got this email and more than likely most of u have it too but for those of u who dont..PLZ DO WHAT IT SAYS!!!!!!!!!!!
The summer run of new episodes of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" is now
over and ABC has still not made an announcement about the show's
future. It is not on the fall schedule and new episodes have not
been taped since November 2001. ABC claims there are 22 unaired
episodes left in the can, but they don't know if they will ever air.
Some say the show is canceled, while others say it will return soon.
Greg Proops has been quoted in a recent interview saying he believes
the show is canceled and that if "Whose Line?" fans want the show to
return, they should let ABC know that they want WL back on the air!
This summer, "Whose Line?" pulled in some good ratings, often
winning its 9-10pm Friday time slot. That was with absolutely NO
promotion, so imagine what it could do if ABC actually spread the
word to raise awareness. Wayne Brady just won an Emmy for his work
on the show a few days ago and it was ABC's ONLY win this year. How
could their only Emmy-winning series get pushed onto the back-burner?
This is where the fans of "Whose Line?" come in... The only way to
help bring the show back is for ABC to know how many fans don't want
to see WL bite the dust. Since July 2003, Save "Whose Line Is It
Anyway?" a website for fans to unite and participate in fast & easy
email and postcard campaigns has been the central headquarters for
all efforts to save the show. As always, the postcard campaign and
even an old-fashioned written letter will be the most effective way
to get our point across since emails can be easily discarded without
being read. The SWL website also features show history, a forum, and
reasons why WL is not ready for cancellation.
Please take a few minutes and visit
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.geocites.com/save_whose_line">http://www.geocites.com/save_whose_line</a> to consider participating in
our campaigns. The more people who are aware of our efforts, the
better, so post about it on discussion boards, websites, groups, and
tell your friends, family, & co-workers about how they can
save "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" from the disappointing direction
it's headed in.
